Data Analyst
We are seeking a senior Data Analyst who will help us turn data into information, get insights and develop business decisions based on the analysis results. Your responsibilities will include conducting a complete lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design and also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
We expect you to possess an analytical mindset with a creative approach to tasks and the ability to find patterns and correlations when dealing with big volumes of information. You should also be able to work under a flexible schedule and report on your findings in a detailed and straightforward manner.
Data Analyst responsibilities are:
- Work closely with Product and Technology teams
- Maintain and evolve current reports, queries and tables on DB
- Data wrangling, cleaning and manipulation
- Provide ad hoc data extraction and analyses
- Proactively check data normalization and ensure consistency
- Propose changes in data architecture to fulfill BI needs
- Assist the front-end development team retrieving data from DB
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
Data Analyst requirements are:
- Excellent knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- 3+ years of experience as BI Analyst – Data Analyst in a team
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Spreadsheets
- Knowledge in the use of pgAdmin
- Independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Ability to analyze and transfer complex contexts
- Courteous and, whenever possible, anticipating the customer’s needs
- Language skills in Italian and English (fluent)
